good question! kriyas are breathing practices meant to cleanse and heal the body...in yoga practice, at least the way we practice it here, they're usually breathing patterns linked to specific, repeated movements.
things like cat-and-cow could be considered a kriya...and one of our favorite is the Frog Kriya...no jumping or ribbit-ing involved.
